On 17.09.2007 between Group Auto Union Bulgaria and Johnson Controls Autobatterie GmbH was signed an agreement for purchasing VARTA and Perion automotive batteries.

On 05.07.2007 at hotel Hilton, Sofia took place the official presentation - cocktail for the opening of Group Auto Union Bulgaria.
